...I spent Easter Sunday in the company of the Carson Family and their friends as they took a ride on the Severn Valley Railway from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. It was a very special day for them, celebrating their son's second birthday as well as getting together to spend time catching up and being around the steam engines that they all share a love of. I was so lucky to be asked to document their day as most of my childhood was spent around steam engines having a father who is a very passionate steam railway enthusiast.
It was such a lovely happy day despite a little rain later in the afternoon which did nothing to dampen spirits and one of the reasons I love my job so much is that I get to share in these special times and record it for them.
